Cluedo is a most intense game

The players seat themselves around the table. On the table laid the gameboard and the respective player's card. They joked as they sat and some took teams. Team 1 (Player 1) and Team 2 (Player 2) were groups of two. They opened their cards.

Immediately, the atmosphere changed as each player marked off their list, eyes glaring suspiciously at one another. Daring them to cheat. Player 1 took a roll. Breath was held.

6
Quickly, player one moved towards the Dining Room. They annouced their accusation
"Mr Plum, wrench, dining room"
The players on their left, Player 2, shook their heads in a negative, they did not have those cards. Player 3 shook her head too. Player 4 stared at her cards, as though willing them to change. Hesitating, she picked up the card and slowly slid it over, like pulling teeth. Player 1 quickly snatched it up and read through it and slid the card back. The card was quickly snatched and returned to Player 4's pile. All other players look on breathlessly as Player 1 cautiously marked off the card.
It was now Player 2's turn to roll.
1
Laughter at the player's inept to acheived a higher number, the dice moved on to player 3.
5
She entered the Ballroom. Looking over her cards and her list, she deliberated on her accusation. The tension in the room very sublty thicken as they tried to figure out her suggestion.
Ms Scarlett, Ballroom, Lead Pipe.
This time, it was Player 5 who had the card. Everyone observed the solemnity if cards being exchanged and partners whispered suggestions to one another.
This went on for more than 45 minutes. Now, Player 2 have been eliminated from the game. It was Player 3's turn onces again. She rolled.
4
Mrs White, Kitchen, Rope.
None of the players had it. Nervously, the partners in Player 1 glanced at each other and at Player 5. Player 4 had a turn.
1
Nowhere for her.
Player 3 excused herself to go to the bathroom.
Player 5 smugly said,
"Mrs White killed Mr Boddy in the Kitchen with a Rope"
She opened the tiny envelope. She smiled in triumph, she was right. The emotions in the room lighten. The losing players congratulated Player 5 on her neat thinking skills. And suddenly,
A shriek of frustration is heard from the bathroom. From the very incensed Player 3.
Oh well better luck next time.

That was how the game of Cluedo at my birthday party went. And it was scary being there.

Post-birthday.

I actually have nice pictures from my birthday party. The only problem is to get it to fit into the slot on my computer.

And we are so counting down the days to your birthday Alya! =)

You will wake up to *that* song.

Mwuahahahahahaha!

I am going on a Hong Kong/Macau trip next week and will be back home just in time for Christmas. (Literally, on the 24th)

The only depressing bit is that Jessie will have to spend her Christmas at the vet's boarding house. She doesn't like the fact that she is fed only biscuits there. I think I spoil her too much.

The weather here has been unusually hot, and the sky have not been that blue for ages. The best part is that star gazing can be executed very well.

I have also watched New Moon. *snort snort* *muffled giggles*

.....

*full out laughter*

please don't make me watch it again. Once is enough.

I have returned with a feather duster.

My blog seemed to have been abandoned for a long time. This is due to the fact that I have nothing to write. Or the stuff I want to write wouldn't seem to flow as easily as before. Of course, my blog posts couldn't be considered lengthy in anyone's opinion.

But, firstly I re-found a book to like. Hogswatch. Zarrah lent it to me a few years back and I bought my own and re-read it recently.

Also, my obsession with Inuyasha has not decreased, I may put it up to the same level as my obsession with Rurouni Kenshin. And when you put these two together you can see some similarities. Interesting hair colour, interesting sword, interesting 'inner demon', and an interesting dead ex. Of course, in one the dead ex was resurrected and in another we just hear about her.

I have found a new television crime drama to follow. Castle. I recommend it, it is really good, or just the lines between Castle and Beckett. The crime scenes are really interesting too.

Lastly, CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!

I still remember the time where I successfully turned Becky and Alya insane using a simple 30 minute long christmas song. That was an interesting chatroom, maybe I should play it again this year.

The theme for my christmas tree is red and gold, as decided by my brother. But I have the honour of putting up the christmas star, until we discover it was too heavy for our new tree. Oh bother.

And have you seen the new thing about the upside-down christmas tree. That is so weird, where does the star go?

The insanity of a little thing called handwriting

I expected that with SPM coming ever closer, the teachers will morph into fire-breathing dragons and start nagging all us students in our every weakness in all our respective subjects.

So, I expected my economics and history teacher to be breathing down my neck at my every twitch.

I did not expect all my teachers to harp on one thing: My writing.

Gah! And there are people out there who has worst handwriting than me.

=(

Done done Done

So, finally got the dress.

It's purple.

And, it is funny when one goes shopping for a dress with people of my *ahem* stature. Since I *sweep* the floor with any dress I try.

And there was this long black-sleeved dress which I tried and promptly went, " Mwuahahahahaha! I am Enchantra, the evil witch"

It was fun.

And I bought Tokio Hotel's newest album, Humanoid. Not bad, they obviously matured, but they mixed a lot of sound in this one.

Waiting and waiting

The subbed version for the latest Inuyasha episode isn't out yet.

And my Japanese is horrible without subtitles.

sigh...

Saturday, October 17, 2009

I am stuffed

Round and round they go...

which open house we land at next

nobody knows.

I love indian food and Deepavali is just bursting with it.

Happy Deepavali to everyone!

sob...sniffle

Just finished watching the 2nd episode of the final act of Inuyasha.

THAT WAS SO SAD!!!

*cries a pool*

And my ears are currently bleeding from having to watch a dubbed episode of Inuyasha, I couldn't find anymore subbed ones of the previous seasons.

*grumbles*

Thursday, October 1, 2009

extremely testy...

Why is it that no one uploads Inuyasha episodes which are subtitled?

All they have are the dubbed ones and those are not natural.

*sulks*

Grrr...

ALYA!

Me and your handphone need to have 'words'

I think it is preventing us from having the wonderful relationship we share. *grins*

(and you should really specify where you are going off too so people like me don't jump straight into conclusions)

What am I on?

So, I have a week of study leave, where I am suppose to technically study.

*whistles innocently*

AND I DO!!! For three hours everyday.

And this was one of the most random conversation I had with my mom today.

Mom: Sarah, do you want the pear?
me: no thanks
Mom: Okay, it's on the counter, wash
the plate when you are done.
Me: Huh?

Squirrel!

I was watching up with my dad and brother, then, I saw a squirel enter through the side door.

So, I yelled :

SQUIRREL!!
And my bro and dad started to laugh. Apparently, I said it together with the tv..when the dogs said 'squirrel!'
*blushes*

Words can be misleading...

For an extremely long time, I thought Alya has finally left the country.

But then...

she just went to Bali.

*argh!*

bet she's having a laugh at my jumping to conclusions.

*grumble*

All bookstores annoy me now.

So, to get on with my newest manga obsession, I decided to buy Inuyasha Volume 1. And so I searched for it.

None of the bookstores I looked at carried vol 1, even Kinokuniya and Times. They usually carry volume 4 to 20 or something like that.

So I have to order it....and wait for three weeks..

*grumbles*

New Anime!

I am watching Inuyasha now.

*trips off to continue watching while pointedly ignoring the pile of homework and revision she still has to do*

Thursday, September 17, 2009

Free..for now

Finished trials *whoot*

And, with the Hari Raya break, we get an extra week off for our study week.

And my teachers do not at all understand the concept of homework.

Lastly, my Twitter is undernourished from updates.

=)

One more week to go =)

My guy friend told me that, one of the best ways guys past times is by naming all the celebrities they like. So, it will start of with one of them expressing their love and affection for *celebrity name here*. Then, all the other guys in the group would nod wisely, and then, full of wisdom in their voices, they would all name their love. This would continue on until one of them come up with a peculiar celebrity.

Then, all brothership is lost as the group stares at the one who Would Not Conform. But it is all fun and games anyway.

=)

Anyway, to make up for my belated-ness here is a delicious cake for Rebecca to admire. And get ready for ther Habby Belated Pirthday song.

*ahem*

Happy Belated Birthday to you!
Happy Belated Birthday to you!
Happy Belated Birthday toooooooooooooooooo (Checks name on paper) Rebecca!!!! =)
(smiles to distract audience)
Habby Belated Pirthday......TO YOU!!!!!!

Thank you! Thank you!

*bows*

Lockdown

This is nice of me, I am self-volunteering myself of the net for the two whole weeks which is my trials.

So...just as a headups for the future lack of posts.

On a lighter note (and font colour) I have decided that I want a blue dress for prom.

Monday, August 31, 2009

Tadah!

I have just revived my twitter.

And I found you, Alya!

=)

And Becky and Vien too, if they are want to be named.

My friendship with nuts

{This was written while the writer was in a fit of dementia from her empty packet of roasted peanuts. You have been warned. }

Peanuts;

You know those packed peanuts, the one which have been roasted to perfection. And all you have to do is shell it. It is so simple, yet, so relaxing, the marketeers got this one right. When you crack that nut, you can her the blessed crunch that says that yes, you can break stuff if you want to. Then, you will see two nuts nestled inside there cozily.

Then, as you gloat and feel smug about the fruits of your labour, you pop them in your mouth. You await the enjoyment you will feel as your teeth grind them into nothingness, swallow, and let your other organs do the rest. But, as you taste it, you lucky person, you realise that you have just eaten a salty peanut. The peanut craved by all nut-heads in the world.

Obviously, you reach out for another one. But, this time, you lack the finesse and care you took for your first nut. You clumsily crack it open. You don't even stop to admire the size and the browness of the shell in your hand, you didn't even appreciate the 'crack' sound which comes from popping it.

You giddily swallow it up and bite. But, there is something wrong. This is not the ultimate nut. It lacked the salty tang, the subtle smell of your first nut. This is just some common, run-of-the-mill nut!

Incensed now, you grab another nut. Over and over again, never stopping until-

The nut has returned again. Smiling in bliss, you automatic nut-cracking movement stilled to enjoy the moment. As you enjoy the salty nut.

You reach out for another one. But, now, the bag is empty. Bah! Foiled again!

I will be back for you nut, just you wait.

argh the embarrassment

So, my family normally goes to church on Saturday evening, and we normally leave the house... 15 minutes ago..

(see where is it all going)

so, me, fed up with being yelled at to hurry up, picked out a top, bottom, shoes, hairstyle etc. a half hour to 6. At 5.45, I began to assemble my attire. By 6 pm , I am out of the room

to meet my family still snoozing the rest of the afternoon away.

(am now currently hibernating in room due to random burst of laughter when seen by any family member)

Up up and away!!

I went to watch Up! today and it was uber awesome. I really recommend everyone to watch it, not just families with kids who like throwing popcorn at the other people.

The plot was simple :

An old man who wants to fulfill his and his late wife's dream of building a house at Paradise Falls. But then , throughtout his journey to and at Paradise Falls, he has to deal with a overly helpful wilderness club boy, a talking dog, a colourful bird and an extremely ancient adventurist.
Yes, I really enjoyed it.

Saturday, August 15, 2009

sigh...

LIDRA farewell yesterday. And I really felt old...
But the place was nice, even though the food was just average. And there was a lawn. And then we acted out a parody of Puteri Gunung Ledang.

See what happens when you spend two months on the stage doing something over and over again...

But it was a fun day. And I got a notebook as a token.

I really really want to buy Rurouni Kenshin vol. 27 and 28.
And I am really lazy to upload photos.

Overboard

Some people are really pinning high hopes on prom. In fact, some of them have even planned out their dresses and stuff already. And me... if a dress comes, it comes. For some reason I want to go really cliche and wear a ice-blue dress to match the theme, Zero Degrees.

But seriously, prom is a lot of trouble for a six hours party thing. There are people who drew out their dresses, tailored it, lose weight....and the list goes on.

And I still am too lazy to go dress shopping. Anyway, if I buy it too early, I may have seen the dress I actually want later, so I am holding out.

Now, all is left is to find a date. Or else I will ask myself there.

So...stuck at home

I get to skip off school due to the fact that I had a mild case of food poisoning. Not fun.

At the risk of giving TMI, I had weird dreams about having stomachaches and then I woke up and realise that it was real.

And my mom says me and my brother are just wacky. He just called from school the say "hi mom, not to worry, I just have an incredible migraine that I am seeing two of everything."

My mom went to pick him up.

But I am still going to the gym today.

Hell knows, heaven suspects. By Mr Bent in Making Money

For some reason the form 5 LIDRA members have to pay for their own retirement party.

And the fact that we use the word 'retire' cracks me up. I had a vivid vision about us all, in our twenties, sitting in rocking chair listening to the sounds of nature, and then.

retired-LIDRA member 1: You remember the good old days where we used to play alibi?

retired_LIDRA member 2: yup, you remember that the player never wins.

My friends say that I am ridiculous. I am also ridiculous because the SPM craze have not hit me yet. So whenever someone goes:

Dude, SPM is 3 months away.
I will go,
Dude, in 3 months time, I don't have to look at BATA shoes ever again.
For some reason they are not amused. I wonder why.

Sunday, July 26, 2009

I bought a new book.

So, its call Going Postal, set in Terry Pratchett's Discworld. I already have Making Money, and since the antagonist is still Moist von Lipwig I wanted to read it. He does have a rather cool wordplay going on.

So, people read.

and today, a weird thing happened to me. So, I went off to Times at Pavi after my parents and brother decided to go to Stadium and Adidas.

And when I met them they were beaming and said that since each of them bought a new article of clothing, I get a new one too!

me : huh?

So, I dragged them all over finding the perfect pair of shorts.

And I found it on a Sale rack in Esprit.

it had funky beading.

What I really want is the flare-out shorts in Gap. Providing that the price mysteriously drop so low that the ground can't even go there.

But there shall be a way.

Oh, yes, and SPM is a pain.

Friday, July 24, 2009

The prospect of ending school.

While many of the students are awaiting the prospect of never coming to school and wearing those white BATA shoes (black for prefects and librarians) ever again, none of us account for the journey to the end.

Actually the end is the SPM examinations. What we didn't expect is the tonne of homework we are getting shoved down our throats everyday now.

So, after school, I am stuck inside doing tedious accounting and drawing graphs while my brother enjoys the sunshine.

And I want to watch Alice in Wonderland, the one coming out next year.

Sunday, July 19, 2009

Puteri Gunung Ledang finally over.

That whole month singing and nearly loosing my voice.

That whole month gleefully putting on a regretful class when we are pulled out of class for extra rehearsals and extra breaks.

That whole month laughing as I watch my friends put on the play and not being able to take them seriously when they act sad..

All gone, my last year and final concert. But I walked away with a marroon kebaya. (ps. Alya, if you want to see me in it ask me to some random dinner or something which requires traditional formal outfits)

And as last year, I realise that I am missing the gene which enables me to put on make up. Hence, I just stood there looking lost while more experienced and talented gurus surveyed my face and put stuff on it. The eye curler mechaniscm scared me. That thing is a creation of evil.

And on Friday night, I discovered why I am incapable of putting on make up.

Rowena : Make up is like art, you just have to blend the colours until it comes out right.

Me : That explains a lot, I always nearly fail my art.

Yup, so that is that.

And I am watching Harry Potter tonight. YAY. Sorry Becks.

Friday, July 10, 2009

Puteri Gunung Ledang

For some reason, there are more dances and songs than there are acting.

The Sultan does a pretty good job though. But I understand why the Princess didn't want to marry him. His laugh was creepy.

And everybody's favourite role/actress:

NENEK KEBAYAN.

Pez does it in such a way that is interesting and :

a) funny to the people who know her
b) scare the crap out of the lower-secondary.

And she has to do this funky evil laugh at the end. And for some reason all the boys in the choir were imitating it.

And my choir instructor, fed up with the lack of songs, mixed up all the song and created a remixed like version of everything for the finale.

Should be fun.

And my kebaya/costume is maroon .

Sunday, July 5, 2009

Piano examinations.

I am going for the grade 8 practical examinations in a couple of weeks. And crap... my pieces are not ready.

And I dislike the scales alot.

And I have just watched five episodes of friends in a row.

Friday, July 3, 2009

A no for me too.

Nope, nada, zilch.

Not going to NS either. And I was actually preparing myself against the shock of actually going. But a lot of my NS-fied friends say it isn't so bad, after you get over the four-layers of clothes thing. And the marching for hours under the sun.

So it's of to MCKL for me with

......

*drumroll*

REBECCA CHAN SEE CHING.

We are going to have so much fun.

Blah....

Two birthday parties in a row!

One : part pyjama party and part reason to watch Transformers 2. *squeals*

two: Really don't know the bday boy...wonder why am I going...?

But, I art really excited for Transformers and Pyjama party.

And a weird thing occured a couple of days ago.

While I decided to take a shower, there was loud sounds emerging on the other side of the door.

Lookey here, it was Zarrah, who was complaining that a friend should not be showering when a friend you haven't seen for centuries mysteriously appear at your toilet door.

Well, said friend should use the handphone and call me first so that I don't walk into the bath.

And then, after an exchange of 5 sentences, she has to go.

Such a long visit.

And her bike wasn't purple.... she claims the stickers on the white-sprayed bike was purple, but it didn't look like that to me.

=)

Friday, June 19, 2009

sighy....

I have to go back to school tonight for the all important:

CO-CO NIGHT!!!!
Or, if my principal had her way, it would be....
cocuriculum evening.
Coco night sounds better. One would then think of Koko Krunch and those weird Milo cereal.
And my club, the drama club decided to put on a series of original plays.
And my drama teacher advisor decided to become dramatic herself.
This involves a trenchcoat, and two very befuddled students.
I shall tell all later.
May I not freak out on stage...

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

I have made a discovery

I made this one rather late.

To drown out my computer teacher's shrill voice, my friend decided to play around with Google Map.

Something which I did not know existed. And now...I can spy on people.

But I can't do a street view of Malaysia.

Which means I can't spy on Becky.

....

But I can spy on Alya *WHEN* she leaves.

(You know, Alya, it's like we want you to leave now... =)

And my mid-term marks aren't so bad.

I didn't fail anything.

=)

Thursday, June 11, 2009

It's raining is pouring

And the haze may take a hint and go on holiday somewhere which is not at all in Malaysia and away from my mountains. While the mountains look beautiful when covered with clouds after a heavy dose of rain, haze does not make it look pretty.

And now I can hear the thunder pouring.

My dog, Jessie.Warning! High on Sugar and Boredom

My brave dog, Jessie.

She is so brave, she guards the house from all sorts of enemies. Namely, the garbagemen, the postman and the guy who collects the newspapers. Yes, she chases them off eventhough she less than half a feet in height, with her large, deep growls and barks. But she is still friendly enough for people to attempt to peek into the house.

While she does have anger issues. She deals with them quite maturely for a dog of 5 years. She just takes her owner's slippers and throws them into the pond. (the slippers not the owners.) Also, she has a good sense of cleanliness which should not be debated. Keeping herself clean, she always insist that she does not need to take another bath and argues that the smell wafting from her is a new perfume she is trying out.

My dog is also a master of the sense of time. She is particularly sensitive in between 4-5pm. Because of that, she is rewarded with a bowl of food, eventually known as dinner.

.....I like sugar......

Whirldwind

So.... I had an extremely busy two days.

Let's start on Sunday. So, my dad got this package which means we get to stay for free at the Millenium Hotel. and so we went.

When we got there, my dad quickly began flipping the channels, to discover one thing.....

They are not showing the French Open.
So, he considered it for a long time (3 secs) and said : ok, let's go home.
-_-
And his reasoning is....."the room is for free"
and we went home.
The next day we came back. Tossed the sheets around to look like we slept there and went on a shopping spree.
Then, I got this sudden sms to watch Monsters vs. Aliens at one.
Never ever put a girl between shopping and a movie. But to the movie I went.
I would seriously recommend anyone to watch this movie.
my fav characters :
B.O.B
his jellified girlfriend
The Missing Link.
Yes, it is good.
And then I went swimming, chilled at the jaccuzzi and my mom and dad decided to go up to this cocktail party thing and let me and my bro order room service.
Good food!
and then, my parents came back and had a brainwave to
WATCH NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2
Generally, I think it is okay, but it is not as good as the first one. I found that it had too many characters and not enough time to squeeze it all in. And it was trying to hard to be funny. But, for a holiday, let-my-brain-rot, let's-pretend-I-don't-have-homework-piling movie, it is good.
But I would say, go watch M vs A more than NATM2.
I think this has got to be one of the longest post I have ever written.

Sunday, June 7, 2009

So.....

Did you know if you blog with your personal touchy, you would have to put it under html?

I didn't know that

Gasp

I read that some people don't like New Moon Jacob.

*GASP*

How could they.

Eventhough I am on team Jasper.

Angels and Demons

Go. Watch. It.

It is definitely worth your money. Sure, they skimmed over some plot, but they couldn't fit that large novel into two hours. So, it is good.

But the carmalengo had more charisma than Tom Hanks, I think.

Just go watch it.

It is an order, Zarrrah.

Pull the damsel thing.

Attention to funky nails

Me, mom and bro went to Shyet-Li in Great Eastern Mall for lunch. And since it is next to the bank, a lot of people go there to eat. The reason: 1> it's convinient, there aren't many restaurants there since they are overpriced and the food court is more or less dead. 2>it's cheap.

So, we were next to this couple who were eating too and then, I noticed something. She was wearing the same nail polish I was.

She noticed it too and remarked on it. The only problem I had was that she called me a little girl. *grumbles grumbles*

And Green Day's new album is awesome.

Greenish turqoise nails

So, I like my nails to be multi coloured. But I suck at painting nails. To quote a friend, I am just too fidgety and too impatient.

But, four of of five fingers on one hand is not bad.

Watching the youth orchestra tomorrow. Excited! And I get to wear a shiny dress again. Except my mom forbid me to wear my red polka dotted one. I thought that one was funky.

And, homework wise, I just realise I do have homework...

...

I really am starting to hate the additional maths project.

Q1. Look for five different pictures with the 'circle element'

Yeah...interesting.

Saturday, May 30, 2009

Fun in the sun, all year round.

I watched True Blood (Finally), and yes, it does make Edward Cullen look like a wuss.

The holidays are here, which Alya remarked that the holidays are over here. And I am partly grateful, partly unhappy that we did not receive any homework for this hols. Yes, we can now ignore that pile of books for two weeks, but then, I have no excuse to NOT revise and all that. Being an SPM student seems to be irking now and then.

And good news, I found my friend who I have not seen for more than half a year, KAY!!!!

Yeah, she went off to Switzerland and Jiah Jian had too many friends to search through.

So, I get to see pictures of snow now. I are jealous.

One day, I shall live in snow too. It's funny since I have another friend who told me snow is a nuisance sometimes. But, I guess if a person lived all her life in a tropical country, snow seems like a far fetched dream.

And then, my dog can put her fur in good use.

Thursday, May 28, 2009

Good,bad,ugly...

So.... Kris Allen won.

But Adam got the offer to join Queen. I are torn in two. One: No one can ever replace Freddy Mercury. Two: Adam Lambert is awesome.

Brain is confused.

Also, my mid-terms have finished. I was celebrating until my friend cheerfully informed me that now it is closer to trials and then, the BIG one.

And, I have decided I will stop telling people what courses I want to take in the future.

So, conversation will normally go like this...

Random *caring* person : So, what are you going to do in uni?
Me: Oh, *a combo of classic litaerature and two languages)
Random *annoying* person: What job do you plan on getting with that.
or
My Aunt : That type of thing doesn't bring in a lot of money.
Me: ....
I don't see the point of working my ass of in school for years just to ensure I 'make money' when I start working.
I want to actually learn something I would enjoy immensely. Ultimately, it is better to be happy than rich.
If I was after money, I would start working after SPM.
...
*grumbles*
And am sneaking in to Angels and Demons.

Harry Potter mania

Why do I keep doing this to myself?

Just rewatched ALL of the released trailers for the upcoming HPTHBP movie.

Argh....
Can't it be sooner?

KA-Shiiiiiiiiing!!!!!!!!!!!

I heart Gambit.

Alright, wolverine wasn't that bad either.

So, X-Men: The Origins. Wolverine.

The man with the shiny hands.

The movie was awesome, eventhough I had a bad feeling me, Alya and Becks were the most morbid ones there. Yeah, we laughed at something which we were supposed to be horrified about.

(Becky, my mom wondered why *it* was still going round and round and why it was still on at *that* part.)

And I really enjoyed it and watched it twice, on the same day.

Fantabulous movie, eventhough I saw more of Hugh Jackson than I wanted to.

My Dog is Allergic to Chicken

And I am allergic to Latex.

Azelia : Condoms are made from Latex. Good luck in the future.

Great life...

Weird...

So, I was lazing at home while my parents were out. And then the doorbell rings.

There were three guys there dressed in the baju melayu thing (I think).

And they were asking to see my father since they wanted him to go to the mosque for something. Yeah, I just heard the word 'family'.

It was weird.

On drug addicts and the freedom of the pen denied.

So my school has this thing with people writing. Basically, they banned anything written which contains influences of magic and violence.

Me : So what do we write about now.

Ez : Factual essays.

Me : But most of them are boring.

Ez : Exactly.

And here's the best part, my two essay assignments came up.

1) I witnessed a robbery
2) I was a druggie.

So, I found it hard to twist what is a typical essay in my teacher's mind.
This is what she expects in the robbery essay.

Person goes to the bank/store. Person sees a few people acting funny.
Suddenly, it seemed to be a robbery where all of them were flat on the floor with the three funny people.
And miraculously, one of the robbers sneezed and person is the only one (with divine help) to escape even though he was on the other side of the store/bank.
And conviniently, when Person is out of the bank, there is a payphone, across the street parallel to the bank.
Person calls the police, who made it in a record breaking three minutes through traffic, fires, floods and the current monster terrorizing the city.
And when it is all over, Person refuses the reward given.
To conclude, Person will remember this for the rest of the Person's life.

And for the first time since she left SMSM, Alya did not answer the phone. She has decided to be clean again.

And now, I must continue doing my moral project.

You know, the one where you 'do' chores.

Test your IQ

So, it was my godmother's surprise party yesterday.

Good food, got bloated up and all that too.

But there was this two mathematical question which are brain sprainers

no 1.

This factory makes bottles. Out of the residue or 8 bottles, one extra bottles can be made.
So, if the factory made 512 bottles, how many extras are left.
Remember, this is a company, which means : More profit at less cost.
no 2.
A rooster costs rm 6
A hen costs rm 3
A baby chick cost 10 cents.
You must buy 100 chickens (roosters, hens and chicks) with only rm 100.
How many chickens did you buy from each category.
We figured out the first one quite quickly.
But the second one... still uncracked.
The person who gave us that puzzle told us he took a half-hour to figure it out.
and that is friends took two days.
My IQ is bad.
So my solution for the chickens, eat them all

Disturbed...

LIDRA is disturbed.

LIDRA stands for literature and drama. And it's sounds better than the drama club. So, today, after a month and a half of postpone-ment, it was my turn to plan what happens.

So, I controlled the for one hour.

I decided to play a game called : ALIBI

How to play:

two suspects have been caught for a crime they know nothing about.

They will have to leave the room as we figure out a crime.

Then, suspect 1 will enter. He/she will be interrogated.

Then, suspect 1 goes out and suspect 2 goes in. Goes through interrogation too.

If their alibis match, they are innocent. If not, guilty.

For some reason, when we switch suspects, they feel a need to shout out what they just said.

eg. SUNWAY LAGOON SUNWAY LAGOON

or something like that.

But, since I left the choice of crime up to my fellow LIDRA members, they are disturbing.

I don't want to talk about it...

Sports Rehearsal

The field was wet, and all the marchers are apparently made of steel or something since we are suppose to ignore the mud and march without noticing that we are getting flecks of mud everywhere.

I don't even mind the mud. But it's the fact that I am trying to concentrate on looking solemn and serious (this is hard) while marching. I really don't know why I can't smile...

Isn't a Sports Meet a good thing...

But I hate the stadium. Done. Someone should clean the toilets. It will do a lot of good.

Alya, I need to know your goodbye details.

(where did your floor go?)

Where I went insane

So, I went a hunting for masks pictures after the previous post and I went crazy.

Easter Bunnies unite.

I want to get back to writing on Fanfiction.net again.

When the time is right. (when I get through my writing block more like it...)

And tomorrow is Easter.

I heart Easter. I am just not big on going to church at 8 in the morning. And yesterday I attented the Good Friday mass at 12pm. Warmy warmikins.

So I want to wish Happy Easter in advance in case I don't get on my lappytop tomorrow.

And I want my chocolate egg.

And I want a carnival mask. This was after reading a fanfic on livejournal.

So...you know what to get me for my bday present. Or you can just buy me a present cause I am so awesome.

Holiday

Whoot ! Holiday tomorrow for Good Friday

Which means I have to go to church.

And Scott's is out of American Idol this week.

And did you tune in to Fly.fm yesterday where they staked out KLIA to catch a glimpse of David Archuleta?

It was hilarious. You could hear people screaming like crazy. It was so bad, they had to take him back inside KLIA. I think he went out at a different exit.

And there was this scout girl on the radio who was screaming:

"He's wearing a RED SHIRT!!! He's wearing a RED SHIRT!!!!"

Wow, how observant.

And I also caught a glimpse of Akademi Fantasia yesterday.

....

I was brought up to not say anything if there is nothing good to say.

And I just realised it,

I miss acting and debating.

But there's no way am I going to jump into the school concert.
The title :

Puteri Gunung Ledang
In English...
can you imagine it
in English
I want two bridges made of gold and silver from Melaka to this mountain. Also, I wish for a bowl of bacteria hearts and a bowl of the hearts of mosquitoes. Lastly, I want a barrel of tears and a barrel of your ownly son's blood.
This is the way princesses say no last time to a proposal.
I guess I am dancing again

Center Stage

I wonder how I have gone through life not watching this show. It's good.

As Azelia puts it:

"It's the best dance show ever made"

People go watch it

Saturday, April 4, 2009

1,2,3,4

Go listen to this song. It's awesome.

Better yet, go watch the vid.

I have a terrible obsession with notebooks.

I buy them but I don't use them. A few of them are lucky enough to be diaries but just a very small few. I just like the prints and the cover is always done wonderfully.

I say one today in MPH which is printed to look like a chocolate bar. Delicious...

The price isn't very delicious though...

And there is the problem where there are just so many books to read and the lack of resources I have to get that book. The problems also start when I refuse to borrow books. Because it won't be mine but someone else's.

Maybe that's why I am studying economics...

Friday, April 3, 2009

I need a new picture.

So...cheesecake won....

Yay.

Now, it's the march past and gymram's problem to win that other 50 points.

I also attended the IR day hosted by the Leo's.

It was fun.

The theme:

AN AFTERNOON WITH THE HEROES

And the whole day was fun with a parody of all the heroes and romeo and juliet. Where Bob the Builder gets the girl instead.

All in all a fun day.

And there was an overblown rumour that Jo's kneecap slipped. There real answer....she strained her ligament.

Lol

I shall now go look for a new pic

Thursday, April 2, 2009

Tired is just a word...

Tug of war today.

Haha, red house and green house were like tofu.

So, tomorrow is the finals with blueberry cheesecake (try and guess)

I shall support the cheesecake.

Oh yeah, shoutout to SMSM, the banana song we use as an initiation has been pirated. It is used here by the cheesecake.

And to Ky and Vien, where were you on the 28th after the flag off? I didn't see you guys throughout the whole race and at the end of it.

I instead had someone bothering me for answers every left, right and centre.

Sadly, we didn't win. Me and Ez thought we will win when they didn't announce our name at second place. Haha.

And that is all. Alya, we shall make plans...to go out, makan and have fun...

...

as soon as one of us plans something.

Being Grimm

So one of the new books I bought is :

The Complete Fairy Tales
by
Brothers Grimm
If you think fairy tales are all about happy and fun and happy ever afters, don't ever open it. EVER!
But if you are cool with it, go ahead. I am not lending.
It's not like there isn't happy endings, but they are just twisted.
In The Brave Little Tailor after, killing seven flies, he decides to make a belt that says Seven in one blow.
This scared a giant, a king, and all sorts.
And he gets to marry a princess he has never met. But of course, he will marry her. She is pretty.
....
Most of the stories are like that.
Its either...
  1. Prince sees poor girl who was abused/poor/kind but misunderstood/hot but poor falls in love with her like that and brings her back to his big castle to live happy ever after
  2. Random lucky guy/prince who wants to see the world travels to this exotic land, sees one hot princess and marries her. Of course, before that he must prove his worth by killing some random giant/giving a smart princess a difficult riddle to solve/capture some giant who was terrorizing the people.
  3. There were things and animals like sausages roosters and the likes

But overall an enjoyable series which I will finish....soon.

My english teacher still refuses to change my marks

Monday, March 23, 2009

Bah!

Firstly, the good news.

a) I got an 'A' in my FCE examination. (First Certificate in English)
b) I passed my French exam with a lot of guesswork.
c) I have gotten an extra 2 new books.
d) I got an 'A' in science
The bad news

a) I got a 60 for add maths.
b) My whole add maths project is wrong a.k.a do everything again
c) My english teacher gave me a 'C' in English because she didn't understand the style I wrote my essay in. And after I gone over everything with her, she still wouldn't change the mark.

.....

I shall not care about bad news (c) cause I got an A in FCE..

I really am starting to hate graphs and the likes.

I haven't seen Alya for ages...

So how do you guys read?

Morality is annoying sometimes

So...do 8 essays on a variety of topics given.

Example,

What is the aim of the Women's Act in Malaysia?
How far do you think the status of a woman should be with a man.

Normally, I could answer this question with research and language but in Moral education, one must use words like:

a) Tolerating one another. (translated from Malay)
The want to tolerate, be patient and controlling oneselve to avoid confrontation amd misunderstanding for the sake of a good life.

b) Rasional
The capability to think depending on available and logical excuse and proof given and the ability to take action after a reasonable amount of thought.

c) Honouring women's rights.
Protecting and officiating women as an individual who can contribute in the growth of a family, community and nation.

d) Open mindedness
To be ready to give and take opinions, renewals and criticism parallel with the factual truth with the norm of a Malaysian community

I refuse to write it.

Just the fact that I will fail Moral in my SPM if I don't write it.....

Finish already?

So...I stayed up until one in the morning hooked on Change of Heart. And this was after I told myself that I would pace it out and read it slowly. Never happened. But it was a fantastic book. And I only felt sorry for two characters, Amelia and Piper.

And I shall not tell you why. Go read it yourself.

Charlotte in that book sounds like a biatch.

and that is all I am going to say.

I also watched Race to Witch Mountain yesterday. It's quite a good movie. I actually wanted to watch a lot of movies. There was just the problem that it was all 18 PL which was basically for violence.

Which means I have yet to watch The Watchmen. Which I really want to watch.

And I also saw the trailer for Angels and Demons. They cut out most of the scenes. I should know. And I was so pumped up to watch and then...

18PL. Again. Damnit.

And I like my age.

Since growing older means I have to take on more responsibilities blah blah.

Not to mention the fact that if anything happens, it was my responsibility.

...

And I should get back to my homework

Wednesday, March 18, 2009

Comment allez-vous?

And the correct answer to that is....

Bien

Now, I have a weird problem going on.

I am doing research for a Malay paper.
I am also studying for my French test.
I have come to the terms that I will never be good at grammar in any language.

My speaking...good
My writing...passable (with all my teachers points of view. My french essay is hilarious though)
My grammar...let us not talk about it.

French grammar, once I get the hang of it, I might be able to do.
But for now, let me waddle neck-deep with my etre, avoir, s'appeler, aimer and the likes.

Watching French shows does not help. I have to burn my eyes afterwards.

Time flies during the holidays...whether you like it or not.

So...my predictions for my first terms....

nearly all passes.

I couldn't say the same for computer. Why did they wedge it in between moral and sejarah I don't know. No one could remember who Tok Janggut was and also 36 nilai for moral on the same day.

*grumble*

So my computer paper was nearly blank.

And I don't think i will get an 'A' in English. What with my biatchy teacher and all.

(becks, alya, I ranted about her to you already)

And now I would like to introduce to you my new reading material.

Very nice book, from what I have read so far. And Alya can stop gloating about how she read that book already.

Friday, March 13, 2009

Becky, your phone hates me!

To Alya:

Me and Becks made a deal. We shall update.

Now, to my update.

Holidays in form five sucks. I have this humongous load of work to finish. And get this, it's only for a week. Because, apparently, all that info will spill out of our heads in a week.

Somehow I have to suck it up, stop laughing and attempt to do the *completely unhelpful* Moral project which will supposedly help me in life. The fact that they are trying to educate us to not runaround the streets killing everyone we see, I get.

What I don't get is the fact that we have to memorize the crazy long definition for a 'nilai'.

And my exams finished today. Things should be looking upwards.

And I have been completely high on Stardust. Been watching it everyday while *studying*

And since Alya will be reading this, I shall do the 16 tag thing. I am suppose to mention 16 random things about myself.

1. I would be sixteen for a very loooooonnnggg time.

2. I get annoyed by two-faced people.

3. While my favourite subject is English, I have never had a good English teacher.

4. I am a Britney fan, always have and always will be.

5. When I see couples with a large age gap, I immediately think back. (like my aunt and uncle who is nine years apart. So it's like my aunt was a baby when my uncle was in Primary School)

6. Long hair is nice, but I shall never ever have it again.

7. My dream wedding involves purple-ness. So bridesmaids beware.

8. I plan on visiting everywhere before I die.

9. I think I may be that person with the gazillion cats.

10. People think I am one of those girls who listen to pop. Then, they look at my playlist. (Hardcore rock)

11. I dislike needles. It is just plain too pointy

12. I dislike it when people decide to squish my dreams, just because they can.

13. I don't like it when the have tryouts and they already know who they want on the team. (Yes, I am still pissed at this.)

14. I use to dream that one day Borders or Kinokuniya would give me a free pass to take whatever I want for free in under an hour.

15. I never like soap operas. It seems like one big happy sleepabout family.

16. I like Heroes. It's the only show where sex is the farthest thing to be played out.

Eat You Up

Nice song...nice dance moves. I recommend the vid to anyone.

So...debate tryouts tomorrow. My topic:

"This house will sanction countries with child labour"

I am the government team.

2nd speaker.

And very stressed out.

This topic is not actually on child labour. It's more on the sanctions itself.
So I must be like Kai Syuen and meditate.

"Sanctions are good...sanctions are good...."

I have to win this somehow.

Yup...I am so going to thrash the opposition.

I have to stop giving myself pep talks like this

Kill the lights

So....Alya has disappeared from out midst.

She will be on the plane for fourteen hours which has the end results of a painful butt.

And then, she will suffer from jetlag and the lack of sleep.

And she has to learn French.

And we shall babble together in French.

The fact is I still don't know when she is leaving.....

And am still waiting to know when she is leaving.

And I think we should all get Skype now. My mom will kill me if I call London daily.

And on to a somewhat more happier post.

I went for the ISKL's IASAS yesterday with Jo and Pez. (free ticket)

It was good, really good. Even though the drama was a tad bit disturbing.

Jessie, le chien

French class sometimes annoys me. Alright, not the french class but some of my classmates.

So I had to skip class last week because of my cross-country and this was the convo that happen with me and one of the students.

Me, Person
Hi
Hello
So what happen last week? *smiles*
*smiles back* Oh we did a lot.
*continues smiling and waiting for explanation*
*stares back in confusion*
So what happened last week? *smile became slightly strained*
*smiles back* Oh we did a lot.
*Smile holds up barely* So what did we do last week?
I have some notes.
Yes, what could have been done in five seconds took that long to be answered.
and yes I know that there may be a lot covered. You don't have to repeat it so many times....
*grumbles and tries to understand french conjugations*

Running to nowhere.

My mom decided I should lift my unhealthy butt of the chair and exercise.

So off we go to.....the GYM.

And here's the thing about gyms. I get the weight lifting and the push up thing and the monkey bar thing.

I even get why there are those auto cycling thinng which do not at all equates into a bike= try riding it in town, one would be instant roadkill.

And I get the row thing=drowning ourselves in the lake is more than likely.

What I don't get it the running thing. I mean, the club I go to it nestled-in-a-hollow-of-mountain type of club. So , scenery is gorgeus. And that's why I don't get the people on the running machine. They could have gotten fresh air but they want to smell sweat instead.

Logic sometimes is a funny thing.

But I did go to the gym. And am one step away from...uh...being healthier?

A fact on heels

Never ever wear heels if you were on a marathon earlier in the morning.

So, I went for the annual cross-country thing yesterday. It was waaaaayyyy longer than last year's run.

You see, last year, upper-sec only has to run the big round and lower-sec runs the small round twice. Piece of cake.

Now, they think it's too short for the dubiously active seniors, sooooo... lets add more to the run. So our round now is:

One small round , the original big round, and another small round.

Ouch....stamina is one thing but the pool and ground is a different thing altogether.

Owies.

And to cap it all off my confirmation was this evening.

I was looking forward to it until I discovered the itinery for the morning.

And because of my want to look tall for once, I just had to put on those heels.

Newness but still old

So I have apparently started a blog here. But the one at livejournal is still there. And shall always be there. Since I'm to lazy to delete it.

So for my livejournal blog, it's here

So, it will still be a living, breathing, computer thingie, where I blog on randomness and stuff.

But I need to get down to something first.

NUR ALYA IMAN HOW DARE YOU MOVE TO LONDON WITHOUT MY APPROVAL!!!!!! =(

Yeah, the rest of the convo is by phone.

I should think Alya is deaf now.

And Becky shall go on the conquest of kidnapping her.

next topic.

I have a cross country to go to. 14km of it. My legs are jellifying accordingly now. Great.

But here's the good thing. Alongside the route is an all too innocent Carl's Junior.

Mwuahahahahahaha. My motivation is complete.

And I am not done with you yet Alya
