It rained, like I said it would.
Lucky everyone made it to the station in time.
I wonder if it would rain tomorrow. It was so heavy, it looked like an extremely thick, wet wall got slapped in front of me, not letting me see anything. It was fun.
The lightning was pretty too.

=/
Sometimes, I wonder where did all the good shows go, especially the Disney ones. I grew up with Disney movies from Snow White, to Bambi to Tarzan influencing my life and I enjoyed it. I even like the small series of shows provided for children, especially Winnie the Pooh.
And now, when I on the tv, I see Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers and wonder where did the creativity that made Disney Disney go? In the 'old' movies, jokes were created by the witty lines and outlandish characters made, making the movies enjoyable for both adults and children. Now, slapstick humour prevails and the only way to get a kid to laugh is to have one character cause major damage to another character.
One of the only series I like now is Phineas and Ferb, since it encourages people to think outside the box. But, I disagree with Perry being a super agent platypus and the fact that they stereotyped their sister to make Phineas and Ferb look good.
And, I am missing all the villains which both scared the heck out of me when I was younger and now, make me laugh at their ridiculousness (especially Ursula : Body Language!) There aren't any good villlains nowadays, besides Enchanted. In Finding Nemo, the...er...doctor was the villain? Oh, right it was the crazy fish killing niece. However, the fact is that the villains don't play a major part in creating the plot anymore. Look at the Queen in Snow White and all her plans which took up three quarters of the show, and look at Melificent in Sleeping Beauty. One line from her and Aurora became Rose for 16 years.
*sighs*
BTW, Becky, I found a French version of Be A Man, you should watch it. It's called Comme un Homme.

At the risk of TMI
So, I was complaining about back aches, shoulder pains and neck aches for ages to my mom, so she decided to bring me to the massuer she goes to to fix her knee.
It turns out that I had dislocated my shoulder blade for some unknown reason. Also, my spine was out of line.
Everywhere hurts now.

Hell-o!
I promised to put this up ages ago but, because of procrastination and stuff, here it is.
What me and Alya doodled in my red book during our driving lecture on Sunday.
me, Alya.
(we are now ruminating over the fact that there is a guy named Ashley and it somehow led to...other things)

Imagine introducing himself.
"Hello, I'm Ashley. No, no, I'm not a girl."
"I can tell" (tries not to laugh)
"Ok, bye now," (goes off to do manly things)
To prove that he is a MAN (ref to Becky)
I'll make a man out of YOU!
Imma girl
Oh, sorry...

The Curse of the Skirt
The thunderstorms outside reminded me about what happened on Thurday afternoon after college. So, it was nearly raining, the light, flimsy kind or rain, so Becks and I figured we would make it to Sentral in time before the storm really hits.
We should have taken the multiple lightnings as warnings.
As a result, my umbrella and Becky's turned inside out from the force of the wind. And me, being an incredible genius, decided to wear a skirt that day. From my college's eye, it is a mini skirt, but truthfully, it is just above my knee. And, somewhat short, flary skirts and strong wind plus crazy rain do not mix.
My entire skirt was soaked, as was my top. And, to make matters worse, it kept hiking up to hide from the cold (the skirt) and I had to put on my shiny red cardigan.
On the train, we were both the most drenched people there, which was good, in a way, no one wanted to stand too close. When we got back, we were greeted with towels and comfort food and a long, long bath.

I R Depressed
I just realized Inuyasha would be finishing soon. As in a few more weeks soon. And it's a finished finish, not a let's take a 5 year break finish.
Now, I need a new anime to be obssessed over, and it's very hard for me to get obssessed with an anime, since I go for the classics.
=(

The similarity between a raven and a writing desk.
Let me just ignore the fact that a certain piece of information is given out to all 18 years olds or 18 year olds to be on this day and let me jump to the fun part.

Observe my wonderfully orange nails (which distracts Rebecca from everything) =D
Alice In Wonderland!!!!
*squeals*
I didn't really like the plot of the movie, but I watched it for the characters. The characters of AIW is so vivid and colourful that I was just smiling through the show.
Also, yesterday was the Kids Carnival Day. Not that I mind kids per se, but, in small doses, preferably less than an hour in the company of someone who enjoys kids. My group had the dart game but with balloons and the tin can games. Watching them play made me think that I may have a heart attack. The intensity and strengh which they utilise to throw the ball/dart was scary. But I liked this during the day.

Erm...
I was going to write something, but the tip-of-the-tongue-phenomenon happened. Although, in this case, one should call it the tip-of-the-fingers-phenomenon, since my fingers are doing all the work.
I learnt a new piano piece, if that is helpful.
=)
Oh yes, SPM results are coming out on the 11th of March, Thursday. If it was coming out on Friday, it would be a 3-day weekend for me.

OB night
I actually enjoyed it, except for the part where they starved us for two hours to get the speeches and performances done first. We were extremely hungry people in there.
But it was a one-up from my prom, which was the bottom of bottoms of proms. The ballroom was amazing, and the faux balcony with the humongous chandeliers gave the room a venetian feel to it. Or I just miss Venice. (What was missing were masks, then we could have a masquerade)
The food was nice, but the chocolate mousse-cake thing...omg...it is, a Hui Ee said,
sinful
I loved it, but I was too full to take another piece. Also, the dancing part was starting, sadly, Roweena left early.
=(
Overall, a good night, and everyone looked fabulous, especially me, and my ott hair.
=)
(Becky looked wonderful too)

Somewhere over the rainbow...
College life is becoming more managable but, at the same time, more hectic.
And here's is something completely random that happened during lit.
me, Row
The whole class looked to see what the explosion of laughter was.

I think I want the bridemaids in red for my future wedding
Oh, but I don't like red

Hmmm...
I actually like Wide Sargasso Sea, surprisingly.
It has a very dream-like quality about it, which makes me wonder if it's real or if Antoinette has fallen down the rabbit hole.

4 hours down
Volunteered at the SPCA again today, it was really fun, until the cats attacked. I think I have a cat phobia, I can't stand them being on my lap, but I'm fine with kittens.
I spent most of the time bugging those adorable dogs and puppies who roam around there bugging me for treats. Everyone should get a dog.
My dad got Muse's album. Yay!
Is it me or in AI getting boring this year, maybe it's because of the lack of a certain Adam Lambert, which was my only reason for the show last year, and Allison Iraheta too. I used to flip over to E!News while waiting, it was fun.

The trials and tribulations of being purple.
I used to enjoy running about in the light rain. And after the orientation camp, I discovered the wonder which was to walk and, alternatively, run in the heavy whip-like rain. It was ridiculous since the cars on the highway just gawked and beep their horn when we were in sight. Note: a really nice thing to do is stop and let us in, don't mind the water on your seat. =)
Now, those days are behind me. The burden of purple hair is that the colour runs, and if I dare to indulge myself in the wonders of the wet, wet world, I have to deal with the consequences

- my hair may decide to go blonde when the purple migrate
- my shirt will have to deal with all those purple immigrants
Yeah, and my mom will yell so loud, aliens planning an invasion would swerve to avoid us.

Purple purple everywhere
My hair is purple. Oh, and it has a white streak on the left side too.
Rebecca is standing as far away from me as possible in a squished train for some reason.
Hmmm...
People are staring.
Cool!

Horrible horrible
So...
The timetable changed again, and the most depressing thing to happen happened.
My timing has been moved to 8 - 4.30 pm tomorrow. I was supposed to go back at 3.30, and that's a whole hour of 'me time'
Oh well,
better study for economics, the lecturer keeps hinting at a test but it never comes. Are being nervous now.
And I think I should get a backpack for tomorrow, my shoulder is hurting, it'll feel like I'm back in Hong Kong again.

and it was all going so well..
So, I got my timetable down and can nearly go for classes without referring to it constantly for the class number.
And then they went ahead and changed it.
While I get to go back early most of the days, I have to begin waking up early again. *sighs* I actually enjoy my Wednesdays where classes start at 10 am.
Now, most of my classes start at 8am. Darn it.
