Cluedo is a most intense game

The players seat themselves around the table. On the table laid the gameboard and the respective player's card. They joked as they sat and some took teams. Team 1 (Player 1) and Team 2 (Player 2) were groups of two. They opened their cards.

Immediately, the atmosphere changed as each player marked off their list, eyes glaring suspiciously at one another. Daring them to cheat. Player 1 took a roll. Breath was held.

6
Quickly, player one moved towards the Dining Room. They annouced their accusation
"Mr Plum, wrench, dining room"
The players on their left, Player 2, shook their heads in a negative, they did not have those cards. Player 3 shook her head too. Player 4 stared at her cards, as though willing them to change. Hesitating, she picked up the card and slowly slid it over, like pulling teeth. Player 1 quickly snatched it up and read through it and slid the card back. The card was quickly snatched and returned to Player 4's pile. All other players look on breathlessly as Player 1 cautiously marked off the card.
It was now Player 2's turn to roll.
1
Laughter at the player's inept to acheived a higher number, the dice moved on to player 3.
5
She entered the Ballroom. Looking over her cards and her list, she deliberated on her accusation. The tension in the room very sublty thicken as they tried to figure out her suggestion.
Ms Scarlett, Ballroom, Lead Pipe.
This time, it was Player 5 who had the card. Everyone observed the solemnity if cards being exchanged and partners whispered suggestions to one another.
This went on for more than 45 minutes. Now, Player 2 have been eliminated from the game. It was Player 3's turn onces again. She rolled.
4
Mrs White, Kitchen, Rope.
None of the players had it. Nervously, the partners in Player 1 glanced at each other and at Player 5. Player 4 had a turn.
1
Nowhere for her.
Player 3 excused herself to go to the bathroom.
Player 5 smugly said,
"Mrs White killed Mr Boddy in the Kitchen with a Rope"
She opened the tiny envelope. She smiled in triumph, she was right. The emotions in the room lighten. The losing players congratulated Player 5 on her neat thinking skills. And suddenly,
A shriek of frustration is heard from the bathroom. From the very incensed Player 3.
Oh well better luck next time.

That was how the game of Cluedo at my birthday party went. And it was scary being there.

Post-birthday.

I actually have nice pictures from my birthday party. The only problem is to get it to fit into the slot on my computer.

And we are so counting down the days to your birthday Alya! =)

You will wake up to *that* song.

Mwuahahahahahaha!

I am going on a Hong Kong/Macau trip next week and will be back home just in time for Christmas. (Literally, on the 24th)

The only depressing bit is that Jessie will have to spend her Christmas at the vet's boarding house. She doesn't like the fact that she is fed only biscuits there. I think I spoil her too much.

The weather here has been unusually hot, and the sky have not been that blue for ages. The best part is that star gazing can be executed very well.

I have also watched New Moon. *snort snort* *muffled giggles*

.....

*full out laughter*

please don't make me watch it again. Once is enough.

I have returned with a feather duster.

My blog seemed to have been abandoned for a long time. This is due to the fact that I have nothing to write. Or the stuff I want to write wouldn't seem to flow as easily as before. Of course, my blog posts couldn't be considered lengthy in anyone's opinion.

But, firstly I re-found a book to like. Hogswatch. Zarrah lent it to me a few years back and I bought my own and re-read it recently.

Also, my obsession with Inuyasha has not decreased, I may put it up to the same level as my obsession with Rurouni Kenshin. And when you put these two together you can see some similarities. Interesting hair colour, interesting sword, interesting 'inner demon', and an interesting dead ex. Of course, in one the dead ex was resurrected and in another we just hear about her.

I have found a new television crime drama to follow. Castle. I recommend it, it is really good, or just the lines between Castle and Beckett. The crime scenes are really interesting too.

Lastly, CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!

I still remember the time where I successfully turned Becky and Alya insane using a simple 30 minute long christmas song. That was an interesting chatroom, maybe I should play it again this year.

The theme for my christmas tree is red and gold, as decided by my brother. But I have the honour of putting up the christmas star, until we discover it was too heavy for our new tree. Oh bother.

And have you seen the new thing about the upside-down christmas tree. That is so weird, where does the star go?

The insanity of a little thing called handwriting

I expected that with SPM coming ever closer, the teachers will morph into fire-breathing dragons and start nagging all us students in our every weakness in all our respective subjects.

So, I expected my economics and history teacher to be breathing down my neck at my every twitch.

I did not expect all my teachers to harp on one thing: My writing.

Gah! And there are people out there who has worst handwriting than me.

=(

Done done Done

So, finally got the dress.

It's purple.

And, it is funny when one goes shopping for a dress with people of my *ahem* stature. Since I *sweep* the floor with any dress I try.

And there was this long black-sleeved dress which I tried and promptly went, " Mwuahahahahaha! I am Enchantra, the evil witch"

It was fun.

And I bought Tokio Hotel's newest album, Humanoid. Not bad, they obviously matured, but they mixed a lot of sound in this one.

sob...sniffle

Just finished watching the 2nd episode of the final act of Inuyasha.

THAT WAS SO SAD!!!

*cries a pool*

And my ears are currently bleeding from having to watch a dubbed episode of Inuyasha, I couldn't find anymore subbed ones of the previous seasons.

*grumbles*

extremely testy...

Why is it that no one uploads Inuyasha episodes which are subtitled?

All they have are the dubbed ones and those are not natural.

*sulks*

Grrr...

ALYA!

Me and your handphone need to have 'words'

I think it is preventing us from having the wonderful relationship we share. *grins*

(and you should really specify where you are going off too so people like me don't jump straight into conclusions)

What am I on?

So, I have a week of study leave, where I am suppose to technically study.

*whistles innocently*

AND I DO!!! For three hours everyday.

And this was one of the most random conversation I had with my mom today.

Mom: Sarah, do you want the pear?
me: no thanks
Mom: Okay, it's on the counter, wash
the plate when you are done.
Me: Huh?

Squirrel!

I was watching up with my dad and brother, then, I saw a squirel enter through the side door.

So, I yelled :

SQUIRREL!!
And my bro and dad started to laugh. Apparently, I said it together with the tv..when the dogs said 'squirrel!'
*blushes*

Words can be misleading...

For an extremely long time, I thought Alya has finally left the country.

But then...

she just went to Bali.

*argh!*

bet she's having a laugh at my jumping to conclusions.

*grumble*

All bookstores annoy me now.

So, to get on with my newest manga obsession, I decided to buy Inuyasha Volume 1. And so I searched for it.

None of the bookstores I looked at carried vol 1, even Kinokuniya and Times. They usually carry volume 4 to 20 or something like that.

So I have to order it....and wait for three weeks..

*grumbles*

New Anime!

I am watching Inuyasha now.

*trips off to continue watching while pointedly ignoring the pile of homework and revision she still has to do*

Thursday, September 17, 2009

Free..for now

Finished trials *whoot*

And, with the Hari Raya break, we get an extra week off for our study week.

And my teachers do not at all understand the concept of homework.

Lastly, my Twitter is undernourished from updates.

=)

One more week to go =)

My guy friend told me that, one of the best ways guys past times is by naming all the celebrities they like. So, it will start of with one of them expressing their love and affection for *celebrity name here*. Then, all the other guys in the group would nod wisely, and then, full of wisdom in their voices, they would all name their love. This would continue on until one of them come up with a peculiar celebrity.

Then, all brothership is lost as the group stares at the one who Would Not Conform. But it is all fun and games anyway.

=)

Anyway, to make up for my belated-ness here is a delicious cake for Rebecca to admire. And get ready for ther Habby Belated Pirthday song.

*ahem*

Happy Belated Birthday to you!
Happy Belated Birthday to you!
Happy Belated Birthday toooooooooooooooooo (Checks name on paper) Rebecca!!!! =)
(smiles to distract audience)
Habby Belated Pirthday......TO YOU!!!!!!

Thank you! Thank you!

*bows*

So...just as a headups for the future lack of posts.

On a lighter note (and font colour) I have decided that I want a blue dress for prom.

My friendship with nuts

{This was written while the writer was in a fit of dementia from her empty packet of roasted peanuts. You have been warned. }

Peanuts;

You know those packed peanuts, the one which have been roasted to perfection. And all you have to do is shell it. It is so simple, yet, so relaxing, the marketeers got this one right. When you crack that nut, you can her the blessed crunch that says that yes, you can break stuff if you want to. Then, you will see two nuts nestled inside there cozily.

Then, as you gloat and feel smug about the fruits of your labour, you pop them in your mouth. You await the enjoyment you will feel as your teeth grind them into nothingness, swallow, and let your other organs do the rest. But, as you taste it, you lucky person, you realise that you have just eaten a salty peanut. The peanut craved by all nut-heads in the world.

Obviously, you reach out for another one. But, this time, you lack the finesse and care you took for your first nut. You clumsily crack it open. You don't even stop to admire the size and the browness of the shell in your hand, you didn't even appreciate the 'crack' sound which comes from popping it.

You giddily swallow it up and bite. But, there is something wrong. This is not the ultimate nut. It lacked the salty tang, the subtle smell of your first nut. This is just some common, run-of-the-mill nut!

Incensed now, you grab another nut. Over and over again, never stopping until-

The nut has returned again. Smiling in bliss, you automatic nut-cracking movement stilled to enjoy the moment. As you enjoy the salty nut.

You reach out for another one. But, now, the bag is empty. Bah! Foiled again!

I will be back for you nut, just you wait.
